I had no idea when painting this piece,  what it would be called, what images would be formed or colors  I would use…I trust my intuition to be my guide. After I read more in depth on the harvest moon and it’s connection to wine & songs, I was pretty excited…. seeing how this piece was started in a vineyard to live music!

About this piece & the color energetics:

The Harvest moon tends to be large and more colorful  than other moons of the year. The Harvest Moon gets its name from the extra light it gives farmers. It’s known often as the Wine Moon as it is through this is when grapes are plump and ready for collecting. It’s called the Singing Moon as the festivals held to mark it would involve signing.

The Full Moon is a time of positive opportunity if you use it correctly.  It can increase your positive energy. Full Moons are about expansion. The wishing power is at its fullest in the Full Moon phase – this is truly a magical time to set goals, make grand plans and ask for assistance.
